Takibayev Zhasulan Daudibayevich entered Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2002 to study Cartography and successfully completed the program in 2007. By the decision of the State Examination Commission, he was awarded the qualification of Cartographer and Geography Teacher. From 2014 to 2016, he pursued his master’s degree at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and earned an academic degree of Master of Technical Sciences in the specialty 6M071400 – Cartography. Between 2009 and 2021, he worked as a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Geography and Water Security (Almaty, Kazakhstan). During this period, he actively contributed for five years to the development of the three-volume National Atlas of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2021, he has been working as a Researcher at the Regional Glaciological Centre for Central Asia (Category II, under the auspices of UNESCO) in the Laboratory for Monitoring the Dynamics of Snow and Glacier Resources. In addition, he worked for one year as a Lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, teaching the following subjects: “Processing of Satellite Images” “Digital Processing of Aerial and Space Imagery” Currently, he is a doctoral student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in “Natural and Technogenic Hazards.” For his professional achievements, he was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, in 2023.
